I threw together a couple of user scripts for Firefox to temporarily restore Reddit to the way it was before they placed the new, intrusive ads. Hopefully when the new Reddit comes along the Reddit team will have a better positioning for their ads, but in the meantime these scripts get them out of the way.
If you have any suggestions on how the scripts could be improved, or if you'd like to improve them on your own feel free to do so in the comments. They're hastily written, and done mostly in Platypus, so I'm absolutely sure there is room for improvement.

The first script is for the main, hot and new pages, the second script deals with the comment pages.

The login box no longer appears, it's in the part of the page with the ads that needs to be removed. If you need to log in temporarily disable the userscript.
